Travel days are nice but tourist days are rainy. It is cold, wet, and windy. We’re still going to the Field of Dreams Movie Site. We also decided that because of the weather we wouldn’t be there long so we took our laundry also. Found a laundromat in Dyersville. Convenient. When we arrived at Field of Dreams, they were supposed to be filming a local commercial. Not sure of how much got done but there were several people hanging out in the gift shop. Posting a few pictures from the Field of Dreams and also the Iowa countryside. In a couple of the distant views of the field you will see newer light towers. This is the professional baseball field they built and games are actually played there. We stayed at a Jellystone Park in Monticello, IA and they had a bear statue.
