Back on the road again this morning. Our next stop is only a short distance away at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground. We arrived and got checked in. We found our site and set up. The plan is to take a drive thru the New Mexico landscape and find Madrid, NM. I wanted to visit the town and Maggie’s Diner. The reason is it is a part of one of my favorite movies, “Wild Hogs”. Maggie’s Diner was built just for the movie and is not a diner at all. It is strictly a tourist souvenir destination. I tried to find a shirt but it took about 4 tries to find one in my size. I did finally find one. I also found poker chip and a patch for my leather vest. I have a few patches that will need to be sewn on it. We left Maggie’s Diner and headed back to our campsite to prepare for tomorrow.
