Sunday morning is here so off to the grocery store to get our supplies for today’s cookout.  I was short an ingredient so I could not make the brownies last night.  That is my priority this morning before going to Patty and Toms.  While at the store Nancy and I talked about a possible icing for the brownies.  She wanted a peanut butter icing.  I found a recipe online and we got the needed ingredients.  We rushed home and baked the brownies.  We opted to only put icing on half of them.  The icing turned out really good.  A keeper recipe.

Off we went to Patty and Tom’s with all of our supplies and a bottle of pear wine we bought at Prairie Berry Winery in Hill City, SD.  Even I enjoyed this wine.  It was called Gold Digger.  We arrived and played a game of cards.  After the game it was time to cook.  We cooked the steaks and made the mac and cheese.  We all sat down to a wonderful meal of steak, mac and cheese, salad, and wine.  Absolutely delicious.  After dinner we played some more cards and then had dessert.  It was so relaxing and so very nice to see friends.  We had a wonderful time.  After dessert it was time to go.  Tomorrow morning we are leaving Roswell and traveling to Carlsbad.
